Connect to SharePoint or Google Drive
From a project's settings, sign in to SharePoint or Google Drive so new photos upload there automatically.
When you’d do this
Section titled “When you’d do this”You want every new photo added to a project to land automatically in your team’s SharePoint or Google Drive, with no manual exports and no chasing crew for files.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- Role
- Team Owner
- Surface
- App and Web
- Plan
- Business
- Affects
- New photos only; existing photos are not back-filled
Connect a project
Section titled “Connect a project”- Open the project and go to its settings.
- Find SharePoint or Google Drive and tap Connect.
- Sign in to your SharePoint or Google Drive account and grant Timemark access.
- Pick the destination folder, then confirm.
Once connected, every new photo added to the project uploads to that folder automatically.
Change or remove a connection
Section titled “Change or remove a connection”- Open the project’s settings.
- Open the existing SharePoint or Google Drive connection.
- Pick a different folder, or tap Disconnect to stop syncing.
Disconnecting stops future uploads. Photos already in the cloud folder stay there.
Common pitfalls
Section titled “Common pitfalls”- Existing photos aren’t back-filled. Only photos added after you connect get uploaded. To move older photos, use a manual export instead. See Export as ZIP or Export as PDF.
- A broken connection shows in red. This usually means Timemark lost access because the folder was moved, renamed, or its permissions changed. Reopen the connection, pick the folder again, and save.
- Use an admin account for SharePoint. Signing in with a SharePoint admin account avoids the permission delays that can hit standard user accounts.
