Remove a team member

Revoke a member's team access. Their existing photos stay in the team.

Someone left the company, finished a contract, or was assigned to a different team. Removing them stops new uploads from their device into this Teamspace and revokes their access to existing photos.

  1. Go to Settings → Members & Access.
  2. Find the member in the Members table.
  3. Hover over their row, then click the trash icon that appears on the right.
  4. Confirm in the dialog.

They lose access immediately. On their phone, the team disappears from the App’s team list at next refresh.

Their existing photos stay in the team. Removal revokes the person’s access. It does not delete the captures they uploaded. Photos remain organized under the project they were captured into.

If you want to also delete a removed member’s photos, do that before removing them so you can find their captures via the By Member filter. After removal, those photos are still browsable as “uploaded by [former email]” but the member can no longer affect them.

  • Monthly plans: you stop being billed for the removed member at the next billing cycle. Time already used in the current cycle is prorated and shown on your next invoice.
  • Yearly plans: the seat remains assigned to the team for the rest of the prepaid year. You can reassign it to a new member without an extra charge.

See Billing cycle and invoices for details.

  • You can’t remove the Team Owner. Transfer the Team Owner role to another member first, in the Timemark App under Teamspace → Settings. If you get stuck, contact support.
  • A removed member’s personal photos (taken outside the team) stay with them. Only photos uploaded to this team are governed here.
  • No bulk-remove UI. For large off-boardings, remove one row at a time, or contact support for a bulk operation.
