Where photos can go
Section titled “Where photos can go”Both ends offer the same two destinations. Only the wording differs.
| Destination | What it’s called | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| A project | The project’s name | The photos leave the project they were in and belong to the one you picked. |
| No project | Move to All Photos (No project assigned) on the web, No Project in the App | The photos stay in the team library but stop belonging to any project. |
Common pitfalls
Section titled “Common pitfalls”- One destination per move. Ticking a second project clears the first. If the photos belong in different projects, move them in separate batches.
- Move is not a copy. The photos leave the project they were in. To keep a copy elsewhere, export them first. See Export as ZIP.
- The Move button stays greyed out until you pick a destination.
- Members can only move their own photos by default. The Move photos permission has three scopes: All Photos, Own only, and Deny. The default Member role gets Own only. If Move doesn’t appear, ask the Team Owner to check your role.
