Upload photos to Teamspace

Add photos from your phone's camera roll or your computer to Teamspace, in the App or on the web.

You have photos that weren’t taken in Timemark, like shots from your phone’s built-in camera or files on your computer, and you want them in your team’s Teamspace. Photos you take in the Timemark App reach Teamspace automatically only when Auto save to Teamspace is on.

Your team’s Photo Source & Upload setting decides whether uploads are allowed and which photos qualify. See Which photos you can upload.

  1. Open the project you want the photos in, or go to All Photos.
  2. Click Add Photo in the top right.
  3. On the Upload tab, click Browse and pick your files, or drag them into the box.

The dialog title shows where the photos go: Add Photo to All Photos, or Add Photo to followed by the project name. You can pick several files at once. Photos, including HEIC, and videos are accepted.

The other tabs don’t upload files. Take Photo shows a QR code for getting the App. Import, on All Photos only, brings projects over from CompanyCam. See Import projects from CompanyCam.

  1. Open Teamspace in the App.
  2. Open the project you want the photos in, or All Photos.
  3. Tap the + button above the shutter button.
  4. Select photos and videos from your phone’s gallery, then confirm.

Photos uploaded inside a project go into that project. Photos uploaded from All Photos don’t belong to any project until you move them. The App reads each file’s capture time and location, then shows a progress list. Failed files can be retried from that list.

The Team Owner, or anyone whose role has the Manage team permission, picks one option in General team settings. It applies to every member, the Team Owner included.

Timemark photos onlyOnly photos taken with Timemark. The App’s gallery picker hides everything else.
Timemark capture onlyNothing. Uploading is off, and the App hides the + button.
  • No + button above the shutter button in the App. The team is set to Timemark capture only. Ask the Team Owner, or someone with the Manage team permission, to change it.
  • Photos from the phone’s own camera don’t show up in the picker. The team is set to Timemark photos only.
  • Uploading doesn’t add a Timemark watermark. A photo from another camera goes in as it is. Only photos captured in Timemark carry a watermark and a Photo Code you can verify.
  • Uploads count toward the Teamspace photo limit. On Free, photos beyond the limit are blurred until the team upgrades. See Plans comparison.
  • Photos went into the wrong project. Move them instead of uploading again. See Move photos to another project.
