Remove the watermark from a photo

Tap the eraser on a photo you've already taken and Timemark saves a copy with no date, time, or location stamp on it.

You already took the photo, and now you need it without the date, time, and location stamp on it. For example to send the plain image to a customer.

  1. Tap Preview on the camera screen.
  2. Tap the photo you want a clean copy of.
  3. Tap the eraser icon.

Timemark saves a copy of the photo with no watermark on it. The clean copy shows up in your phone’s album and in Preview in the App. The stamped photo stays exactly as it was.

  • The stamp can’t be edited off the photo you already have. The eraser gives you a second, clean copy. It does not strip the watermark out of the stamped photo.
  • The time and the location themselves are never editable. They’re locked at capture so the Photo Code stays valid. See Why I can’t edit the time on a photo.
  • You can’t turn the Time field off in the Photo Template. Every stamped photo carries the capture time. If you don’t want a stamp at all, use one of the three options above.
  • Removing the watermark needs Plus or Business. On the Free plan the eraser is still there, but tapping it opens the subscription prompt.
