Three ways to get a photo without the stamp
Section titled “Three ways to get a photo without the stamp”| What you want | Use this |
|---|---|
| A clean copy of one photo you already took | The eraser on the preview screen, above |
| A clean copy of every photo from now on, saved automatically | Save the original photo without the watermark |
| A clean copy of a team photo in Teamspace | Download the original photo, then choose Original photo |
Common pitfalls
Section titled “Common pitfalls”- The stamp can’t be edited off the photo you already have. The eraser gives you a second, clean copy. It does not strip the watermark out of the stamped photo.
- The time and the location themselves are never editable. They’re locked at capture so the Photo Code stays valid. See Why I can’t edit the time on a photo.
- You can’t turn the Time field off in the Photo Template. Every stamped photo carries the capture time. If you don’t want a stamp at all, use one of the three options above.
- Removing the watermark needs Plus or Business. On the Free plan the eraser is still there, but tapping it opens the subscription prompt.
