Set the watermark direction
Control how the watermark is oriented on your photos.
When you’d do this
Section titled “When you’d do this”Set the watermark direction when you shoot in landscape or rotate your device and want the stamp to stay readable, or when the watermark appears sideways relative to the photo.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- Surface
- App
- Plan
- Free · Plus · Business
- Tap Settings on the camera screen.
- Tap Watermark Direction.
- Select the orientation you want, then go back to the camera.
The new direction applies to your next shots. The live watermark in the viewfinder updates so you can confirm it before shooting.
Common pitfalls
Section titled “Common pitfalls”- This applies to new photos only. Photos you’ve already taken keep their original watermark direction.
- Timemark also re-lays out the watermark when you physically rotate the device while framing, so the on-screen position can shift as you turn the phone.
