When Jobber syncing stops
Photos keep flowing until a job is both invoiced and closed. Reopen it and they flow again.
When you’d read this
Section titled “When you’d read this”Photos stopped landing in Jobber and you want to know whether that’s the integration doing its job or something going wrong.
The rule
Section titled “The rule”Syncing follows the job’s real state, not just whether someone marked it closed.
| What happened in Jobber | Syncing |
|---|---|
| Job closed, no invoice yet | Keeps going. The work isn’t finished until it’s billed. |
| Job invoiced and closed, in either order | Stops |
| A closed job reopened | Resumes. New photos go to that job. |
| A new job started on the same property | Continues, on the new job |
| Integration disconnected | Pauses. Nothing is deleted, and reconnecting resumes it. |
Content that already synced stays where it is. Nothing is moved or removed.
Common pitfalls
Section titled “Common pitfalls”- The job looks closed but photos still arrive. No invoice exists yet, so the integration treats the work as unfinished. Raise the invoice and syncing stops.
- Photos stopped and you didn’t expect it. Check the job for an invoice. Invoiced plus closed is the stop condition.
- A project sits on Property and never syncs. There’s no Request, Quote, or Job on that property yet, so there’s nothing to attach photos to. Using the Timemark + Jobber integration shows how to create one.
- Nothing syncs after reconnecting. Reconnecting restores the project links, but a job that is already invoiced and closed stays stopped. Reopen it or start a new job. See Connecting Timemark to Jobber for how reconnecting works.
- You deleted the project in Timemark. Its link to Jobber goes with it. Create a Request, Quote, or Job on that property and a fresh project appears.
