Take a photo
Capture a timestamped, GPS-tagged photo with Timemark.
What you need

Take a photo
Section titled “Take a photo”- Open Timemark. The camera screen opens by default.
- Make sure PHOTO is selected at the bottom.
- Tap the shutter button. By default the photo is saved automatically, with no confirmation step.
Camera options
Section titled “Camera options”Flash and the camera switch (front and rear) sit on the main camera screen. Tap either one directly.
Tap the ☰ (three-lines) button in the top-left corner to reveal the other options:
| Option | What it does |

| Ratio | Sets the photo dimensions: 3:4, 16:9, 1:1, or Full screen. |
| Timer | Delays the shutter: Off, 5s, 10s, or 20s. |
| Filter | Applies a color filter. Tap Compare to preview it against the original. |
When you switch to the front camera, Filter becomes Beauty. Tap it to adjust the beauty parameters (Smooth, Whiten, Shrink Face, Enlarge Eye).
Flash modes
Section titled “Flash modes”Tap Flash to cycle through:

Review before saving
Section titled “Review before saving”To check each photo before it’s saved, turn on Edit before save in Edit before save settings. A confirmation screen then appears after each shot, where you tap ✓ to save or ✕ to delete and retake.
From this confirmation screen you can also tap the share icon to send the photo right away through WhatsApp, Email, and other apps.
Add a caption
Section titled “Add a caption”With Edit before save on, tap Add Caption on the confirmation screen to fill in:
- Name
- Company
- Notes
Tap Done, then tap ✓ to save the photo.
Common pitfalls
Section titled “Common pitfalls”- The captured time and location can’t be changed. You can adjust how the time is displayed, but not the underlying values.
- Beauty appears only on the front camera. On the rear camera the same button stays as Filter.
