Change where photos are saved on Android

Pick the folder on your Android phone where Timemark saves photos and videos.

Timemark saves to the DCIM/Timemark folder on Android by default. You want your photos in a different folder instead, such as the main camera folder your gallery app shows first, or an SD card.

Android only. New photos and videos you take from now on.
  1. Tap Settings on the camera screen.
  2. Tap Photo Save Location. The current folder name shows on the right, such as Timemark.
  3. Pick a folder. You can also create a new folder or rename one.
  4. Save your choice. The App confirms with “Photo save location has changed.”
  • Not every folder is allowed. You can choose DCIM/Timemark, your phone’s gallery folders, or an SD card.
  • On the Free plan the folder list is greyed out. You can see the options, and the banner at the top leads to Plus.
  • If Plus ends, saving goes back to the default folder. Photos already saved to your custom folder stay where they are.
  • The App needs access to your photos. If access is off, the page says so and asks you to allow it first.
  • The same setting is also under Google Drive & OneDrive. Changing it in either place changes both.
