I took photos but they didn't save or I can't find them

Where Timemark photos go after capture, and why a shot may be missing.

If a photo you just took isn’t where you expect, it’s almost always one of the cases below. Start by tapping Preview on the camera screen, then All photos, since that is where every Timemark capture is stored.

Photos are in the App, not your phone’s gallery Timemark saves captures into its own library, not your phone’s system Photos album. If you’re looking in the phone gallery and don’t see them, that’s expected.

  • Tap Preview on the camera screen, then All photos, to see everything Timemark has stored.

Edit before save was on and the shot was discarded With Edit before save turned on, every photo waits on a confirmation screen and is only kept after you tap . Tapping , pressing back, or leaving the App on that screen discards the shot.

  • Check whether Edit before save is on. If you don’t want the confirm step, turn it off so shots save automatically.

The photo was taken offline and hasn’t uploaded yet Capture works offline, but cloud backup and team sync only run when the App has a connection. The photo is on the device but not yet in Google Drive, OneDrive, or Teamspace.

  • Reconnect to Wi-Fi or data and reopen the App. Offline photos upload in the background once you’re online.
  • Confirm the shot exists locally first under Preview → All photos.

Device or Teamspace storage was full If your phone storage is full, the photo may fail to write. On a Free Teamspace, only 100 photos are kept, so new uploads stop appearing once the cap is hit.

  • Free up space on your phone, or delete older photos / upgrade to Business for more Teamspace capacity.

The photo was deleted Deleted photos are not kept in a Timemark trash. Check any export, Cloud Backup, or team copy that may already exist.

  • Going forward, turn on Cloud Backup so every capture has a second copy automatically.
  • Export or back up anything you need to keep before deleting.
  • If a shot only exists on the device and the phone is lost or reset, Timemark has no copy to restore from unless Cloud Backup or team sync was on at capture time.
