Share a photo
Share a Timemark photo on its own, or with a link to its metadata and map.
What you need

Share a single photo
Section titled “Share a single photo”- Tap Preview on the camera screen.
- Tap the photo you want to share.
- Tap Share to send it as is, or tap More next to Share and choose Share as.
Under Share as you can pick:
- Photo only sends just the image.
- With link sends the image plus a link to that photo’s details.
Share multiple photos
Section titled “Share multiple photos”- Tap Preview on the camera screen.
- Tap All photos at the top right.
- Select the photos you want to share.
- Tap Share.
What the link shows
Section titled “What the link shows”A photo shared With link carries a link to a page showing that photo’s metadata and a map of where it was taken. Tapping the map can launch navigation in Google Maps.
Common pitfalls
Section titled “Common pitfalls”- Photo only drops the shareable link. Use With link when the recipient needs the location or metadata.
- The sharing options are the same on App and Web.
- On a few device models, Timemark photos don’t show up properly in a chat app’s own photo picker (black image, or can’t be selected). Sharing from Preview, as described above, sends them normally. See Photos not showing or won’t send in WhatsApp, Line, or Messenger.
