General team settings
Rename the team, set the photo source and camera-roll rules, and delete the team.
When you’d do this
Section titled “When you’d do this”You want to rename the team, restrict how photos can enter Teamspace, control whether a copy of every capture lands in members’ phone camera rolls, or delete the team. These controls apply team-wide.

- Click Save.
Choose how photos can enter Teamspace
Section titled “Choose how photos can enter Teamspace”In the PERMISSIONS → Photo Source & Upload section, pick one of:
| Option | Behavior |
|---|---|
| All sources | Photos from any source can be uploaded, including manual gallery uploads from a member’s phone. |
| Timemark photos only | Only photos previously captured with Timemark can be uploaded. Blocks generic phone gallery imports. |
| Timemark capture only | Prohibits all manual uploads. Captures must happen inside the App. The strictest setting. |
Choose whether captures save to the camera roll
Section titled “Choose whether captures save to the camera roll”In the PERMISSIONS → Auto-Save to Camera Roll section, pick one of:
| Option | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Save to device | A copy of every Timemark capture is also saved to the system photo gallery. (Default.) Convenient for sharing outside Timemark. |
| Teamspace only | Captures stay inside the Timemark App and Teamspace cloud. Nothing lands in the camera roll. |
Delete the team
Section titled “Delete the team”Team deletion is currently available only in the Timemark App, not on the web.
Before you delete a team, transfer the Team Owner role to another member. A team always needs exactly one Owner. This is also done in the App, under Teamspace → Settings.
- In the Timemark App, go to Teamspace → Settings → Delete team.
- Confirm.
Deleting a team removes its projects, photos, and templates from Teamspace. Export anything you need to keep first.
Common pitfalls
Section titled “Common pitfalls”- “Timemark capture only” blocks legitimate uploads, like a member who took a photo with the native camera by mistake. Use it only when you need strict capture provenance, such as legal evidence or audit.
- “Teamspace only” is per-device when set in the App, but team-wide when set here. This Settings → General page is the team-wide control. Individual members can no longer override it.
- Switching the photo source from “All sources” to “Timemark capture only” doesn’t retroactively scrub past uploads. It only affects future submissions.
- The photo source and camera-roll policies are Owner-controlled. If those options are greyed out, you’re not the Team Owner.
- Team deletion can’t be undone. Export anything you need first.
