Edit a template

Customize the fields shown on your photo watermark, including logo, notes, time, and location.


Editing the template vs. editing a photo. This page changes your Photo Template, the layout and fields applied to the photos you take from now on. To change the watermark on a photo you’ve already taken, use Edit watermark after taking a photo instead.

Open the template editor in either of these ways:

  • Tap the template directly in the viewfinder.
  • Tap the Templates button, then tap Edit.

You can also make fast changes without opening the full editor:

  • The edit button at the bottom-right of the viewfinder quickly edits all input-type fields, such as notes.
  • The location button at the bottom-right of the viewfinder opens the address picker.

Toggle each field on or off:

Tap the > next to any field to edit its settings. For example:

  • Time: choose the date/time format and toggle Week, 24-Hour Time, or Time Zone. With Time Zone on, the photo shows the common name of your local time zone, such as CST, PT, or GMT+2.
  • Address: select from nearby locations
  • Weather: toggle Fahrenheit or Celsius
  • Lat/Long: choose coordinate format and accuracy
  • Map: choose Default or Satellite view, adjust size and position
  1. In the Edit template panel, tap Color.
  2. Choose a color and icon for your watermark.
  1. Toggle Notes on.
  2. Tap Notes to enter text.
  3. Previous notes are saved in history for quick reuse.
  1. Toggle Logo on and tap + image.
  2. Choose how to add your logo.
  1. Tap Select from album.
  2. Choose a photo from your camera roll.
  1. Tap Search from Web.
  2. Enter your brand or company name and tap Search.
  3. Select a logo from the results.
  1. Tap Generate logo by text.
  2. Enter your brand name (max 25 characters including spaces).
  3. Tap Done. Your logo is generated automatically.

Tap Done to save. If you exit without saving, you’ll be asked “Do you want to save all changes?”

  • Template changes apply to photos you take from now on. They do not change photos you’ve already taken.
  • A quick note added from the camera screen is a one-off for the next shot. To make a field appear on every photo, toggle it on in the template instead.
