Add an address to a project

Geo-locate a project so members get a reminder to select it when they arrive on site.

You want members to be nudged to select the right project when they arrive at a job site. Adding a location pins the project to a physical address. Timemark then reminds anyone within the set range to switch to that project before capturing.

  • The reminder is a suggestion, not a lock. Members can ignore it and still capture photos under a different project. If you need strict project assignment, remind your team in your site briefing.
  • Range limits. The radius can be set from 0.06-5 mi in the US, or 0.1-8 km elsewhere. The unit follows your region automatically.
  • Range too tight in dense urban areas. GPS accuracy on phones is typically 5–15 metres. Setting a range under 0.1 mi in a dense area can mean the reminder never fires reliably. Start with 0.3 mi and adjust.
  • One address per project. Each project supports a single location. If a project spans multiple sites, consider splitting it into separate projects.
