Export photos as KMZ
Generate a KMZ for use in Google Earth.
When you’d do this
Section titled “When you’d do this”You want to view your project photos by their GPS locations in Google Earth or another mapping tool.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- Role
- Any member with photo access
- Surface
- App and Web
- Plan
- Free · Business
- Open a project in Teamspace.
- App: tap Download → KMZ. Web: click Download Photos, then select KMZ.
- Wait for the file to prepare, then share or save it.
Common pitfalls
Section titled “Common pitfalls”- Maximum 1,000 photos per export. Split larger projects into smaller exports.
- Photos without GPS data won’t appear on the map.
- Stay on the page while the file is being prepared.
- On Android, a “File saved to your device” notification appears when the download is complete.
- If export fails, start the export again to retry.
